"Welcome to The MvixCommunity Wiki"
This Wiki is provided as an information resource for all things related to the Mvix and Unicorn brands of media products.

This Wiki has been created by Mvix users, for Mvix users, in the hopes that it will become an information portal as well as a technical resource for extending Mvix products' functionality. It was initially created with the MX-760HD specifically in mind, but has since been extended to accommodate several different Mvix products.

The Mvix Community

The MvixCommunity Wiki's roots began with an initial forum thread discussing the MX-760HD at AVSForums.

Owen O. Byrne then gave the community its own identity by creating this Wiki in early March 2007. Since then it has grown with community contributions.

The inspiration behind MvixCommunity Wiki came from a similar effort over at Mediagate Wiki. The Mediagate MG-35NDAS and MG-350HD devices offer similar functionality to that of the Mvix MX-760HD.

The MvixCommunity Wiki is not affiliated with any Mvix distributors or manufacturers.

Unicorn is the manufacturer of Mvix branded products. They are a South Korean based company which develops and (presumably) manufactures Mvix branded media centers and other multimedia devices. They also create and maintain the firmwares for such devices.
