MX-7x0HD Media File Not Playing
From MvixCommunity
If your Mvix player fails to play a specific media file, then one of the following is a likely cause:
- Media format is not supported by your Mvix player - check your model's specifications
- Your media file is corrupted or has a non-standard structure
- Your media file was not encoded properly
- Your Mvix player is defective
In order to test the functionality of your Mvix player, simply download these MEDIA TEST FILES to your PC, unzip and transfer them to the Mvix Player. Navigate to play and ensure that your player decodes these files completely and that you are able to view these videos.
If your Mvix player is able to play these files, then your player is not defective. Please check your source video files to eliminate any inconsistency in their encoding.
You can also use Super(c) to convert stubborn AVI/MP4/VOB/etc. files into a consistent DivX format that will play on your Mvix. Many video files distributed on the internet today are compressed MP4 (Ipod/Sony PSP) format. These files, and many other formats, can easily be converted to a DivX format so you can play them on your Mvix player! You can download Super(c) for FREE by visiting eRightSoft's download page.
