Overview
The MX-760HD is a high definition media player with the ability to play files from a local hard drive, USB-attached storage or network shares. It is capable of playing several popular movie and music formats including DivX and MP3.
The operating system that runs on the MX-760HD is a customised version of uClinux kernel (also known as Embedded Linux) and busybox (as well as other pieces of software).
Now being marketed as the MX780-DVI, this product is essentially the MX-760HD with MX-780HD firmware, and incorporates internal SATA HDD connections.
