Overview
The MV-5000R is a media player with the ability to play files from an internal 3.5" hard drive. It is capable of playing several popular movie and music formats including DivX and MP3.
It features an LCD display screen, which is the only real difference between the MV-4000R and MV-5000R models.
The difference between the MV-5000R and MV-5000U model: the 'U' model has hardware that provides the capability to broadcast audio as an FM radio signal to nearby radios.
It would appear that this model has now been discontinued, having been replaced by the MV-6000R, featuring both SATA and IDE hard drive connectors and a MX-760/780-style casing.
