MvixUSA has just released the latest revision of the firmware for the MX-760 Media Player. Version 1.1.25 fixes multiple issues and introduces some new features.
Among the issues fixed is the problem with connecting to the wireless routers with encryption turned off.

Hi Macca,
What do you mean "no wired networking functionality"? It does have both wired and wireless ethernet, both of which work for me...

I think he means FTP/NAS... Mvix says it will be coming out soon... Check out their newsletter for proof:

Many of our customers have asked us, “Where’s the FTP file transfer support?!” Fear not, our development team is testing this firmware and should release it in the next few weeks. We wanted to release firmware 1.1.25 first to give you the benefit of some other enhancements that we have been working on.

My box is pretty stable right now so I will probably wait for the NAS/FTP firmware to upgrade. I always say dont fix what aint broke

If the firmware is close to release then that's pretty good

This version is not worth upgrading to - go straight to 1.1.26 beta 3.
