Mvix are currently considering releasing the complete source code for the MX-760HD to the community!

Read more here.
My apologies that I'm not around any more - I've given away all my Mvix kit as it is no longer supported by the manufacturer.

I can be found on Mede8erforum.com should you want to get in touch.

Still considering?

Did anyone download it and try it? Is there instructions on setting up the environment/compiler/link er etc. It would be nice if they provided this info as well and the memory layout, basically the SDK, because then we can really do stuff, instead of wasting hours/days setting everything up etc.

MVIX should have done this a long time ago when interest was high. So much time has been wasted that could have been used to allow the community to make the 760 into a super product. The community showed an enormous amount of interest in this over the years and all requests for this went on deaf ears over at MVIX. To me this is nothing more then a "to little to late" attempt to save a dying product in a bad economy. To give you an example netgear released there sourcecode for the 54g router when it first came out about 3 years ago and this resulted in record breaking sales for the company for that product.

I guess you can all tell this is a sore subject with me.
If I knew I was going to live this long I'd of taken better care of myself

Nothing on that thread as yet.
I would propose that all interested parties post to the link referenced above and put forward your requests to receive the source.
The more users this comes from, the greater the likelihood for a swift decision.
